Welcome to TANG CHI COUTURE. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and your purchase of products from TANG CHI COUTURE INC. (“TANG CHI COUTURE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing our website, placing an order, or purchasing our products, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.
1. PRODUCTS & AVAILABILITY
TANG CHI COUTURE offers high-end ready-to-wear, couture pieces, luxury footwear, and accessories and other fashion products, including limited-production and handcrafted designs.
Many of our products are produced in extremely limited quantities due to the specialized materials, craftsmanship, and production processes involved. Availability is not guaranteed, and placing an item in your shopping cart does not reserve the item.
We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue products, or cancel or refuse orders at our discretion, including in cases of inventory errors, pricing errors, suspected fraud, or other circumstances that may affect our ability to fulfill an order.
2. HANDCRAFTED & UNIQUE CHARACTERSTICS
Certain TANG CHI COUTURE footwear, ready-to-wear, couture pieces, and accessories are handcrafted, hand-finished, hand-embellished, washed, distressed, dyed, felted, embroidered, beaded, or otherwise individually produced using specialized techniques.
As a result, minor variations in color, texture, finish, embellishment placement, construction, dimensions, or overall appearance may occur between individual pieces. These variations reflect the handmade and artisanal nature of our products and are not necessarily considered defects.
Certain pieces may also feature intentional raw edges, distressed surfaces, irregular finishes, exposed construction details, delicate embellishments, or other characteristics that are part of the original design.
Product-specific notes regarding intentional finishes, delicate materials, construction, or design characteristics will be stated on the applicable product page where appropriate.
3. PRODUCT INFORMATION
We make reasonable efforts to display product descriptions, colors, materials, measurements, and images as accurately as possible. However, colors and appearance may vary depending on your screen, lighting, and device settings.
Measurements and sizing information are provided as a guide and may vary slightly due to construction and production methods.
Customers are responsible for reviewing all product descriptions, sizing information, care instructions, and product-specific notices before purchasing.
4. PRICING & PAYMENT
All prices displayed on our website are shown in the currency indicated at checkout.
Prices may change without notice. The price applicable to your purchase will be the price displayed when your order is submitted, subject to correction of obvious pricing or technical errors.
Applicable sales taxes, shipping charges, duties, and other fees may be added at checkout or assessed separately depending on the destination.
5. ORDER ACCEPTANCE
Receiving an order confirmation does not necessarily constitute final acceptance of your order.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order before shipment for reasons including, but not limited to, product unavailability, payment issues, suspected fraudulent activity, incorrect pricing or product information, or shipping restrictions.
If we cancel an order after payment has been received, the applicable amount will be refunded to the original payment method.
6. ORDER CANCELLATIONS
Because most of our products are offered in very limited quantities and may begin processing shortly after an order is placed, orders cannot be canceled once they have entered processing or preparation for shipment.
If you need to request a cancellation, please contact us as soon as possible after placing your order. We cannot guarantee that a cancellation request can be accommodated.
Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled.
7. ALL SALES FINAL
Due to the extremely limited quantities, delicate materials, specialized craftsmanship, and couture nature of many TANG CHI COUTURE products, all sales are final, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
We do not generally accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for reasons including change of mind, incorrect size selection, personal preference, or normal variations associated with handcrafted or individually finished products.
Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing all sizing information, measurements, product descriptions, materials, care instructions, and product-specific notices before completing a purchase.
Couture, made-to-order, customized, altered, personalized, or specially produced pieces are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged, except where required by applicable law or where we determine that the item has a qualifying manufacturing defect.
8. DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS
If your item arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect that is not part of the product’s intentional design or finish, please contact us promptly after delivery with your order information and clear photographs of the item and packaging.
Claims will be reviewed individually.
If we determine that the product was damaged during shipment or contains a qualifying manufacturing defect, we may, at our discretion and depending on availability, offer a repair, replacement, store credit, or refund.
Damage resulting from wear, misuse, improper handling, accidents, failure to follow care instructions, or the natural characteristics of delicate or handcrafted materials is not considered a manufacturing defect.
9. SHIPPING
Shipping times provided on our website or at checkout are estimates only and are not guaranteed delivery dates.
TANG CHI COUTURE is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs processing, severe weather, transportation disruptions, incorrect shipping information provided by the customer, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
10. INTERNATIONAL ORDERS, DUTIES & TAXES
We ship to selected domestic and international destinations.
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, handling charges, or other fees imposed by the destination country or local authorities.
Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, all customs duties, import taxes, VAT, and related charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the product price or shipping charge.
TANG CHI COUTURE does not control these charges and cannot guarantee the amount that may be assessed.
Customers are responsible for understanding the import requirements applicable to their destination before placing an order.
Refusal to pay applicable customs duties or taxes does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund.
11. LOST, STOLEN OR MIS-DELIVERED PACKAGES
Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delivery is subject to the carrier's procedures and tracking information.
If a package appears lost, damaged, or mis-delivered, please contact us so that we can assist with the appropriate carrier claim where possible.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that their delivery location is secure and that the shipping information submitted with the order is accurate.
12. CARE & USE
TANG CHI COUTURE products are created using luxury and specialty materials and may require careful handling and professional care.
Our ready-to-wear, couture pieces, footwear and accessories may incorporate delicate materials and techniques including leather, silk, velvet, tulle, organza, specialty textiles, embroidery, beading, feathers, felted elements, glass, resin, sculptural components, hand-finishing, and other artisanal details.
Customers should follow all care instructions provided with the product or displayed on the applicable product page. For highly delicate couture or specialty garments, professional cleaning by a cleaner experienced with luxury and couture garments is strongly recommended.
Normal wear and tear, aging of materials, accidental damage, improper storage or cleaning, damage to delicate embellishments, or damage caused by use inconsistent with provided care instructions is not considered a manufacturing defect.
13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content appearing on the TANG CHI COUTURE website, including but not limited to designs, footwear designs, photographs, videos, graphics, logos, trademarks, product names, text, illustrations, artwork, prints, patterns, and other creative materials, is owned by or licensed to TANG CHI COUTURE and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, modify, publish, sell, commercially exploit, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written permission.
Purchase of a TANG CHI COUTURE product does not transfer any intellectual property rights associated with the product or its design.
14. PROHIBITED USE
You may not use our website for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized purposes.
You may not interfere with the operation or security of the website, attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, scrape or reproduce website content for commercial purposes, or use our intellectual property without authorization.
